Baptism with Bubbles . A Colorful and Joyful event at Saint George Chapel

Baptism is a special event in the life of a family, as it marks the beginning of a child’s journey of faith. When it comes to capturing the essence of this moment, photography plays a crucial role. As a photographer, I had the pleasure of shooting a baptism at Saint George chapel in Kavouri, located in the Athens riviera.

IN THIS ARTICLE, I WILL TAKE YOU THROUGH THE DETAILS OF THIS EVENT, WHICH I LIKE TO CALL “BAPTISM WITH BUBBLES.”

The day was sunny, the concept was colorful, and the people were very smiley.

The baby was a blue-eyed girl, named Georgia, smiley, and lovely, and her parents had organized a baptism full of joy and energy. The chapel was decorated with flowers and colorful balloons, which gave the place a festive touch.

As the ceremony began, the parents, the godparents, and the guests gathered around the baby, who was calm and curious. I captured the precious moments of the baptism, the light pouring in from the stained-glass windows, and the faces of the family members.

After the baptism, the family and guests moved outside, where a mobile Cocktail Van Bar vintage van named ” Bar Retro ” served special drinks .

The van had a retro vibe, with a classic black and white color scheme and a wooden / leather interior.

The guests enjoyed sipping their drinks and chatting under the trees, creating a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. But that was not all.

A girl named Vasiliki, from a company called ” Le Petit Marguerite ” performed a bubble science playing.

I captured the bubbles floating in the air, the kids reaching out to catch them, and the parents smiling and enjoying the moment.

She had a table with colorful test tubes, beakers, and a big bubble wand. She created all sorts of bubbles of different shapes, colors, and sizes, which delighted the kids and the adults alike.

As a photographer, I believe that naturalness and authenticity are the keys to capturing a moment’s essence. In this event, I focused on the people’s emotions, the colors, and the details that made it unique.

The bubbles, the drinks, the food, and the decorations were all part of a bigger story, a story of love, faith, and celebration.

IN CONCLUSION, THE ” BAPTISM WITH BUBBLES ” WAS A COLORFUL AND JOYFUL EVENT THAT I HAD THE HONOR TO CAPTURE.

The baby’s smile, the parents’ love, the guests’ happiness, and the details’ thoughtfulness created a moment that will be cherished forever.
