effortless connection, and a sunset that felt like it was timed perfectly for their vows.

From the ceremony at Agios Nikolaos, Anavyssos to the celebration at Lagonisi Falls Estate, the day unfolded with that rare balance of elegance and real, unfiltered joy , the kind of story documentary wedding photography is made for.

Before the wedding day even began…

Gerasimos and Iliana kicked things off with a pre-wedding party at their house, complete with a 360 video booth by boothbooth 360 , drinks flowing, a DJ on the decks, and dancing that started early and never really stopped.

It wasn’t just a “warm-up” , it felt like the first chapter of their story, relaxed, fun, and full of real connection.

By the end of the night, you could already feel it: their wedding in Athens Riviera was going to be unforgettable.

Gerasimos’ morning had that perfect mix of calm and chaos, the kind that always makes for the best documentary frames.

Surrounded by his guys, the energy was loud, funny, and real. Last-minute touches, teasing, and that classic “everyone tries to help at once” moment while he got ready.

The preparation wasn’t about perfection, it was about brotherhood, adrenaline, and those raw, unfiltered seconds right before everything becomes official.

Iliana’s prep was softer, emotional, and deeply personal, with her closest friends right there beside her , supporting, hyping, and holding space for every feeling.

One of the most unforgettable moments happened when Gerasimos sent her a message using a small drone. As she read his words, it hit her instantly, she got emotional and started crying, and her friends were right there with her, sharing the moment and letting it unfold naturally.

It was a beautiful reminder that the most powerful parts of their wedding aren’t staged, they’re lived.

Wedding ceremony at Agios Nikolaos, Anavyssos

The ceremony at Agios Nikolaos in Anavyssos had that calm, coastal elegance the Athens Riviera does so well open horizon, sea air, and a sense of timeless simplicity.

As guests gathered and the atmosphere shifted into that quiet anticipation right before the entrance, the light began to change.

And then the sunset arrived.

Not in a subtle way more like a full, golden glow that wrapped the ceremony in warmth. The kind of light that instantly turns a moment into a memory. It didn’t just look beautiful; it changed the emotion of the scene. Gerasimos and Iliana were completely present with each other, and that sunset became the backdrop to their vows—soft, cinematic, and unforgettable.

Reception at Lagonisi Falls Estate: warm details, big energy

After the ceremony, the story moved to Lagonisi Falls Estate , and the mood shifted from intimate emotion into celebration.

The reception had a beautiful contrast: romantic warmth in the details, and real party energy as the night progressed. The tables glowed with candlelit ambience , sparkling glassware, warm tones, and details designed to feel personal and elegant.

Everything photographed beautifully even from across the room: soft bokeh, golden highlights, and that warm summer-night atmosphere that makes the Athens Riviera feel so special.

Then the celebration took off.

One of the standout moments was the champagne tower , fun, loud, and full of cheers. Iliana holding her bouquet while the glasses filled felt like a perfect snapshot of the night: bridal energy, confidence, and pure joy.

And then came a moment nobody expected

During the reception, Iliana surprised everyone with a dance in an angel-like dress, light, floating, and completely unforgettable. The room went quiet for a second, then erupted into cheers. Under the string lights, the whole scene felt cinematic, emotional, and wildly fun.

A playful twist from Iliana and Gerasimos

Instead of a classic bouquet toss, Gerasimos and Iliana added a playful, interactive twist… a ribbon maypole-style game with prizes for both of them. One of the most fun moments of the night was the ribbon maypole everyone grabbing a ribbon and waiting for the reveal,  Iliana pulled the bouquet, and Gerasimos pulled a bottle of Patrón.

Next-day at Cape Sounio: ancient landscape & sunset on the water

The next day, we continued the story with a session at Cape Sounio, where history meets the sea in the most dramatic way. The pace was completely different from the wedding day in the best possible sense. Quiet, intimate, and free of timelines.

We started around Sounio’s iconic landscape, letting the location guide the mood.. calm steps, soft wind, and that grounded feeling you only get after the wedding whirlwind is over.

Then we moved to a beach above the area for the final chapter

Another sunset, this time reflecting on the water. The result was pure Athens Riviera magic… a golden horizon, gentle waves, and Gerasimos and Iliana silhouetted in the sea, completely in their own world.

Cinematic, simple, and deeply romantic, an ending that felt like an exhale.
